CogniWorld offers a long distance rate of 3.49 cent per minute for state to state calls, as well as very competitive international long distance rates. Billing increments are 6 seconds, with a per call minimum of 6 seconds for domestic calls, and 30 seconds for international calls.
There is never a monthly fee for CogniWorld long distance when using online billing and automated credit card payments. Billing through postal mail is offered as a courtesy option, and a $1.99 billing fee will apply for this option in months where usage is less than $20. CogniWorld charges standard taxes as all other long distance carriers. CogniWorld long distance does not charge any "Carrier Recovery Charge".
Cogni World long distance is a tiered service, and the above rates only apply in tier A areas. Calls from tier B and tier C areas are billed in the same six-second increments, but are priced at 4.9 cent/minute (tier B) or 7.9 cent/minute (tier C) for state-to-state calls. CogniWorld in-state long distance rates also vary by tier, and are shown in the CogniWorld intrastate rates list.
CogniWorld international long distance rates are not tiered, and international calls will be billed at the same rates from all areas. International calls have a mimimum duration of 30 seconds per call, and are billed in six second increments thereafter.
